Description Victoria Zhukovskaya 2008-07-10 16:19:37 UTC
I have installed FireFox 3.0 and Firebug 1.2.0b4

1. Create PHP Project with JavaScript
2. Invoke Properties for the project
3. Choose the Debugger node, switch on: Debug client side JavaScript (FireFox browser only)check box and Firefox and
radio button.
3. Press Ok.
4. Invoke debug for the project

result: there is wnd: Install Firebug, the firebug extention (1.1 beta or later) ....
But I have installed Firebug 1.2.0b4.

5. Press Ok
result: there is wnd: Install Firebug, the firebug extention (1.1 beta or later) ....
But I have installed Firebug 1.2.0b4.

etc

As result - can not debug javascript with help firebug.

Another small problem is
needs Firefox 3.0 for Firebug 1.1 beta or later.
may be it should be written on Install Firebug wnd.

Reassigning to JavaScript module, please evaluate (not sure about the subcomponent). Thanks.

I think FireFox 3.0 isn't supported yet and you should use FireFox 2.X. Anyway, user should be informed about not
supported browser in better way (see, issue #137505)

Better diagnostics for unsupported FF3 + instructions on how to configure FF2 will be added.
