Currently we use firebug 1.1 which does not operate with FireFox 3.
Launching a client-side debug session will hang at splash-screen with 
session state at INIT.  It is necessary to re-start the IDE.

Quick update... the NetBeans JS debugger extension relies on FireBug. FireBug 1.2, currently in Beta, is the only version that works with FireFox 3. A number 
of incompatible changes have been made to FireBug 1.2 which we are trying to find workarounds for.  It is not likely that these will be resolved in the next few 
days, which means FireFox 3 support will have to be waived for Beta.

The currently version of Firebug, 1.2b7, is not stable enough to use for debugging.  Release candidate versions of 1.2b8
appear to be more promising; Firefox 3 support will most likely be available once Firebug 1.2b8 is released.

Support for Firefox 3 using Firebug 1.2.0b13 is now available.  Additionally, Firefox 2 will also use Firebug 1.2.0b13,
so the old Firebug 1.10b12 build has been removed.
