Description _ krystyna 2008-05-05 05:44:08 UTC
05/04 bits with updated netbeans firefox extension
Windows XP

It appears that Kill/Finish/Shift + F5 appears to close session in that
toolbar debug icons and all debug windows close, however subsequent sessions
will fail to debug properly or hang.

Another symptom is that even on an IDE restart, the first debug session
will produce a "Close Firefox" dialog although there are no browser
windows visible. A firefox process will be found in the taskmgr.
It will have to be manually killed to restore functionality.

To reproduce:

1) use debugger keyword in script and launch a debug session
2) verify in session/threads window that state is suspended
3) kill session but don't close browser. verify debug windows, toolbar icons are cleared
4) launch debug again. Won't be able to reach suspended state.

This will also happen in conjunction with suspend on exception option.

The workaround is to close each debug session via the firefox browser and
not rely on Kill/Finish.
