When adding a new message the new message text is replaced with the message text that
was selected after completing the dialog; it seems to only replace the first column (default language) value; other
columns appear as entered; this also seems to happen only when something was selected prior to clicking the new button;
that is when opening a fresh window and immediately clicking new the problem does not occur; only after something was
selected.
