Description nellyta 2007-11-26 15:45:05 UTC
Setup:

Linux SUSE 10.2
NetBeans 5.5.1
Firefox 2.0.0.5

Symptom:
Firefox does not get started on running a project through NetBeans.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start Netbeans.
2. DO NOT open any instance of Firefox browser.
3. Run a project.

Expected result: The browser should get opened upon running the project. (At least I've expected that :) )

Actual result: The project gets built, but does not get opened. (No such problem if a Firefox instance has already been
opened once.)

Hi, nellyta!

Could you please specify what exact kind of project did you attempt to run in NB IDE (your steps to reproduce are quite
minimalistic) and if this issue is still reproducible in NB 6.1 (does FireFox start as expected in NB 6.1?)?

[One more question - is this an enhancement or a bug (a DEFECT should be selected then)?]
