Description jamespb 2007-06-26 17:04:29 UTC
Feature request: rather than having to hit the "select in files" navigation menu item, it'd be nice to have a toggle in
the files pane that says something like 'hit select in files every time i go to a new file'. That's what i have active
in RadRails all the time; needing to hit a button is annoying.

Sounds reasonable to me; reassigning to projects; I'm not sure where the select in files/projects code lives, but I'm guessing the projectsui module owner
would know if it's not there.

Almost certainly a duplicate, has been requested from time to time for years. Easy to implement but I don't think it was
ever approved by UI. In fact I have a vague memory of actually implementing it, and it was a small patch, but it was not
possible to put in the standard build for some reason. Don't see any trace of it in CVS, can't find it in Issuezilla.
Someone might remember better what happened.

Or maybe it was Miloš or someone else who implemented the patch. Hard to recall.

Found it.
