I think I have the same problem. Dont know how to proceed. Netbeans can't read one of my files

This is what I get after a while of being working with the IDE. It usually comes up when I try to go to a class source through CTRL+click on the class name or ALT+O. I don't know if it has anything to do but I've observed this problem since I tried to install the FindBugs plug-in which wouldn't work because of memory problems. I submitted an issue on the topic.
I have the same problem: javax.jmi.reflect.InvalidObjectException: Object with MOFID 7FA5AE04-6070-11DC-9998-6674FD86AA77:000000000000085E no longer exists, class: org.netbeans.jmi.javamodel.JavaClass$Impl at org.netbeans.mdr.handlers.BaseObjectHandler._getDelegate(BaseObjectHandler.java:365) <...> It seems that whenever I've been working with other applications than NetBeans I can select the NetBeans window without any problems occurring. It occurs when I click somewhere in the editor itself (having a really simple .java opened).
I am closing all reports in category Java/Unsupported as wontfix. These should be dead issues --- if the reported cases are against some live part of the NetBeans IDE please reopen and we can discuss to which category they belong.
