NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 070223) 1.6.0-rc; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0-rc-b104 Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86 en_GB (nb); Cp1252 Description: ============ 1. invoke action editor for some button inserted in jFrame (JDA) 2. Create New action - set name and confirm it 3. then try to invoke "Select Icon" editor - nothing happens Icons could be added to new action only in case, user confirm action editor and opens it again... If it's not possible to add icons immediately after action creation, icons should be hidden at that time for user ... But in my opinion user should be able to set all possible attributes to action immediately after it's creation.
I am not able to reproduce this behavior. If I create a new Java Desktop Application, select a button in the toolbar, and create a new action, then I am able to click on the icon buttons to set a new icon without first closing the Action Property Editor and reopening it. Was this is a brand new project or in an existing project?
I this this has been fixed by other patches.
