In the attach to VM dialog you can set Connector used for attaching, Host and Port where you want to attach to. It is annoying to enter these information every time you try to attach to running VM. These information should be persistent.

Target milestone -> 3.3
A message from an external customer: It's just a nit, but I'm doing remote debugging of j2ee apps and I connect and disconnect from my j2ee app server a thousand times a day. Each time I connect I have to select the "Debugger Type" (JPDA) and then punch in my port. It would be nice if these selections were remembered and presented as the default next time I do it. Somebody should think of increasing priority of this issue.
Fixed in main trunk. JPDA debugger saves all settings. Tools debugger (JDK 1.1) saves only hostname, not password.
Not fully functional yet.
Fixed (main trunk).
Netbeans (build 191) ==================== Everything is remembered well, but name of the Connector is not selected in the combo box correctly - when the Socket attach was used, then Host and Port text fields are shown, but in the Connector property is selected Shared memory attach.
The dialog behaviour was fixed.
Verified in Netbeans build 193.
