Original status: 5-Cause Known; Suggested Status: NEW Original Target Release: shortfin_dev; Suggested Target Milestone : 5.5 These items should be added to the Keywords: I18N Original submitter: kaa Description: There are some problems with the following tutorial: http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/javatools/jscreator/learning/tutorials/2/demonstrating_i18n.html Problem 1 --------- See section Designing the User Interface. Step 1: User should create a new visual web application instead of simple web app. Step 3: Rules property for GridPanel component doesn't contain 'all' value. Problem 2 --------- the IDE blocks design view until there are errors in code. Therefore user can't switch between the code and Design view during this tutorial. (see section Adding Initialization Code to the Session Bean, step 3). Evaluation: We will make the changes to the i18n tutorial when we update the tutorial for Visual Web Pack 5.5. Workaround: For problem2: comment/uncomment source code with errors while reproducing this tutorial. Seems it will be inconvenient for users.
