Such button within components selection web page will help users with quick
selection of great number of required components to install.

Fixed. The new version of the page will feature a Select/Unselect All button for
the custom column.

I don't think it is really needed to give the option to select/unselect all components. Note that regular user 
would go through this step once for final release and maybe once for beta release. I also don't think there 
will be many users who want to unselect all optional components.

I suggest don't do it.
