Description Sergey Petrov 2006-12-20 12:39:19 UTC
reproducible with 061213

steps:
1. create sequence diagram
2. add two lifelines
3. add synchronous message (for example) with quite "big" shift from lifeline header
4. add asynchronous message below first message
5. now try to modify diagram for a better look
5a) try to lower lifelines to minimize messages shift from header
  impossible (see issue 84316)
5b) ok, try to move first message up
moved but blue area is expanded (bug or now is unclear but overal behaviour is
a bug because of corrupted diagram)
5c) try to resize blue rectangle, I found no way to do
  5d) move second message up
once message cross blue area(duration area?) from first message it's
impossible to split it again
Comment 1 _ jyothivasa 2007-01-04 23:00:31 UTC
Apart from the mentioned, there is also a regression if the async message is
contained within the sync message, and the sync message is moved to not contain
the async message. This needs to be fixed.
Comment 2 Thuy.d Nguyen 2007-02-16 00:51:43 UTC
- The problem stated in 5b no longer exists as a result of the fix for issue 78491.
- Since 5b was fixed, there's no need to resize (vertically) the blue bar as
mentioned in 5c.
- The problem in 5d still exists.
- The regression issue mentioned by jyothivasa can not be reproduced with the
latest daily build

Planned for drawing area upgrade after NB 6.0.
Comment 4 George Vasick 2007-05-18 00:51:48 UTC
Should not use resolved/later status.
Comment 5 George Vasick 2007-06-28 21:42:34 UTC

*** Issue 116434 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. ***
Comment 8 George Vasick 2008-01-02 16:54:38 UTC
Diagram area bugs waived for 6.0 will also be waived for 6.1.
Comment 9 Sergey Petrov 2008-05-14 08:09:37 UTC
it's not necessary now but the issue is dependent on issue 131972
Comment 10 George Vasick 2008-06-10 17:12:13 UTC
Removing obsolete assignments. Bugs will be reassigned for M2.
Comment 11 Sergey Petrov 2008-07-01 18:22:25 UTC
in 6.5 execution specifications are not stick to each other
