version 5.0. using vista rc1 5600 and jdk 6... unexpected exception. can't 
open project... think it worked on vista in the past. had problems before this 
one though: could not click on anything - no response, yet in task manager, 
listed as running. think that was version 5.5. reinstalled 5.0 and java 6. 
still not working.

Thanks for the report.  You might try asking on nbusers@ if anyone knows
anything about this.  Meanwhile, re-assigning to catch-all IDE category.

This is JDK bug :

The bug was fixed in JDK 1.5.0_11 and it will be in JDK 6.0 (since build 96)
