i had a problem with my Netbeans 5.5 and later the option to open a new proyect
was unabilited, i uninstall an reinstall the program but it didn't work. i hope
that somebody can help me.

Seems like a duplicate of issue #60757 to me. Please see the last comment by
twuersch in that bug to see possible cause of the problem.
