At the moment all Partner Links displayed within a BPEL process are displayed exactly the same, regardless of there binding type. In large processes it becomes difficult to identify when they do and hence difficult to read, can we enhance them to provide the following: 1) Icons to indicate what the Binding type is, i.e. JMS / JDBC / etc 2) Tool tip to display full partner link name, at the moment the title is restricted to about 14 characters. 3) Minimize to a bar display, i.e. hide the operation within the partner link. This would be extremely useful when I have, say, 10 operation per WSDL/Partner link and have multiple partner links.
Ok let's keep this issue open but focused exclusively on the suggestion 1 about icons for binding types. Other suggestions covered elsewhere. 2) Tool tip for names is RFE for all elements. http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=89032 3)Minimize display of large PL is discussed in http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=88933
Alexey, need reevaluate this.
