Seen on Windows XP with NB 55 061017_1 and JDK 1.5.0_07: 1. Open the attached wsdl document in the WSDL editor (DnBBusinessVerification.wsdl). 2. Expand the following nodes: Services -> BusinessVerification -> BusinessVerificationSoap. 3. In the Properties pane, click the ellipsis for the Location property. 4. Click the Reset to default button. ==> The dialog immediately closes, and I have to reopen the dialog to see what the default was set to. The dialog should remain open, so that I can see the value and decide whether to keep/edit the change or not. WSDL attached.

I am not able to see "Reset to default button"? where is this? In the Properties pane, click the ellipsis for the Location property. 4. Click the Reset to default button.
This is netbeans property sheet behavior. Basically, the reset to default, sets the property to the default value, not in the dialog.
I don't like this dialog behavior. I would expect the value to be reset to the default IN THE DIALOG, so that I can choose whether to persistently reset the value of the property by clicking OK or editing the default value and clicking OK, or by canceling. I was surprised to see the dialog go away and have my previous property setting persistently changed (and I couldn't UNDO it).
Reopening as a usability issue. Behavior still exists in Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200711041200) Java: 1.6.0_03; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0_03-b05 System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1252; en_US (nb) Userdir: C:\Documents and Settings\lautz\.netbeans\dev
This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue. Thanks for your cooperation, NetBeans IDE 8.2 Release Boss
