java-tools-bundle-main-060927_5-windows install java-tools-bundle-main To start application server from :Sun\Appserver\domain\domein1\bin\startserv start IDE and open Runtime click server result appsrver is not started
Please attach the installation log file.
Resolve the issue as invalid because the specified script "startserv" is not exptected to start server. I don`t know why the reporter thinks that it should behave in that way. I`ve tried Java EE 5 SDK, Platform edition installer (java_ee_sdk-5_01-fcs-bin- b09-windows-nojdk-28_sep_2006.exe): I have installed it, then ran startserv from domains/domain1/bin and manually added this server instance in the NetBeans IDE. The result - the IDE shows that this server is not started as well. So it seems that startserv doesn`t really start server as the reporter has expected.. It makes something different. The only right way to start AppServer (outside IDE) is to run "asadmin start-domain domain1" from <as-install>/bin directory or by lauching the appropriate shortcut from Start Menu (Programs->Sun Microsystems->Application Server PE 9->Start Default Server). If the reporter thinks that startserv should really start server, then, please, file an appropriate bug against application server. Thanks, Dmitry
