Dev 060925, JDK 6, Linux. Look carefully at the screenshot which should say it
all (I have no idea how to reproduce). The menu item and the tooltip agree that
nothing is running, yet the status bar component still shows the scanning task.
Mousing over the "task" makes the cursor turn into the "hand" shape; clicking on
it does nothing.

jesse, why do you have the progress bar at the top? how is that to be achieved?
