Description Andrey Yamkovoy 2006-09-26 09:32:48 UTC
It will be very helpful to have possibility to run XTest with pattern string.
In other words generate current config by module mask (pattern).

I am not sure what you mean. Could you, please, give me an example?
Comment 2 Andrey Yamkovoy 2006-09-29 12:53:04 UTC
Selection by pattern allows master config on the fly generation. In other words
you need to pass base dir and pattern to build script, after that all tests
(directories with cfg-*.xml) will be included in generated master config and
executed.
Comment 3 Jiri Skrivanek 2006-09-29 13:17:11 UTC
OK, I have nothing against it. For NetBeans we can hardly use it because there
are a lot of modules and you never want to run them all (and all testtypes
together). And for daily runs there has to be a manually created list to know
exactly what will be executed.
