Description Srividhya Narayanan 2006-09-23 03:40:06 UTC
The AM server is expected to be installed as localhost. It is instead installed
by installer detected hostname. This will prevent the Liberty sample to work
OOBE. See 82233
Comment 1 Kirill Sorokin 2006-09-24 20:34:37 UTC
Since we now use the installer that AM team provides to EE SDK, we don't have
any control on its behavior. Resolving as INVALID. If you feel that the issue
should be addressed, please file it against AM.
Comment 2 Srividhya Narayanan 2006-09-24 22:27:42 UTC
The contract from dev with our installer is that we expect the AM runtime to be
installed/configured as localhost. Please work with the AM team on bugster (via
filing BUGS) on how best to resolve this for the dev team. This is a VALID bug
from dev to installer. The installer can have dependency BUGs with runtime as
need be.
Comment 3 Kirill Sorokin 2006-09-27 11:28:22 UTC
Since we moved back to bits+recipe approach, this issue should be gone.
