I have some changes in that I want to create a diff patch to capture...

I select the 'Export ..... Diff Patch' item, which opens a file chooser that
only lets me select an existing dot-patch file.  There isn't a field, where I
can entry a new file name...

So, I have to open a terminal window, touch a file named XYZ.patch and then
select that file in the dialog to get my patch
