NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 060912)
1.5.0_07; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_07-b03
Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86
en_GB (nb); Cp1252

Steps:
1. Create new project.
2. Add new class (name should contain some multibyte chars.)
3. Import project in repository and open "Output" tab.

Multibytes are not shown correctly.

Can submitter add a gif of how the incorrect multibyte appears ?
Also, does the multibyte show ok otherwise on your system; are the needed
system fonts present, since by default, english xp does not have these
fonts present ?

multibyte filenames and messages are handled corretly, only the output in the
the oupput tab seems to have a problem

Seems to be ok now. It shows exactly the same what the system does.
