This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
The current XML Schema has three navigator views: * XML View - which is provided for most xml documents and provides an XML structure view * Schema - which provides a read-only tree view (same as schema) for an XML Schema document (stays in sync with schema) allows double click navigation. * Design - provides a node based design view for schema. Supports Navigation (double click). I would like a general review of the navigator views. Providing three views is somewhat problematic in that the navigator infrastructure does not remember the last view, so context is sometimes lost when switching between windows. It is not clear that all three views are useful.
