Description brviking 2006-08-03 03:54:43 UTC
Because servers live in a complex structure, and service providers sometimes
redirect packages from cell phones, there is the need to support HTTP REDIRECT
on Mobily Client to Web App stub classes.
Actually, if in some point server return "HTTP REDIRECT" it throws NPE on client
with no message indicating about what's going wrong.

This will be implemented in next version.

This is nokia forums link to description of the problem. The information is
public avaliable, and (as stated on docs), affects only midp2.0 applications:

http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.nokia.com/id/9a194bb1-557a-459b-9ede-828d210c486d/Technical_Note_Handling_Java_HTTP_Redirecting_In_Nokia_S40_Devices_v1_0_en.pdf.html

The link points to a PDF document I think I can't attach to this issue (due to
copyright).

Hi Misk [it is me again:o)]!

Could you please make a quick revision of this issue? The target milestone is set to the obsolete value.

Thanks,

joshis (Petr Dvorak)
