I expect to be able to hit CTRL-P (code-complete) after a class name and have
the IDE guide me as I fill in its Generics type-parameters (similar to the
interface we have now for entering arguments for methods).

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
