Hi. I've been working on conversion of SPL license headers to CDDL as described at http://nbbuild.netbeans.org/fix-cddl.html Some of the files were not converted by the script and need to be handled by hand. I do not have enough knowledge to do it, so please evaluate yourself and possibly replace references to SPL with CDDL. Actually the following two files contain legacy translation memory, and long time ago the SPL license translation went in, so they probably should not be fixed. I can remove translation units for SPL, if that's necessary, of course. > translatedfiles/tmx/ru/russian-mihmax.tmx > translatedfiles/www/ru/translation5-omegat.tmx P.S. Jarda, I can't be in time with Target milestone -- 3.4 ;-)
Hi Jaroslav, I see you fixed translatedfiles/tools/src/org/netbeans/modules/translatedfiles/tools/MergeTask.java already, TMX files should probably stay as they are, so I beleive Masaki Katakai should update licenses for Chinese files.
Sure, I will. All files under src/ directory of trunk will be obsoleted, because these files have been just copied from previous version 5.0, 4.1, 3.5... We're now working on 5.0 mainly, just started 5.5. ml build is not started yet for trunk. Removing these *obsolete* files can be one reasonable approach.
Re. target milestone: I would set the version to "Dev" and leave the milestone up to you, if there were such alternatives available. Re. the rest: the goal is to switch to CDDL and deprecate SPL during release 5.5. Whatever you do to help this goal, is imho ok.
I see, we don't have 5.5 target milestone :-( Masaki, may you please take care of this too? Because I don't have enough rights (being project owner is apparently not enough)
For 5.5 Beta2, we plan to release Japanese and Chinese Beta2 files after English Beta2, but there will be some files that still have old license, because we will not update all files in translatedfiles/src. So, we will update all files by 5.5 GA. is it OK?
