Original status: 1-Dispatched; Suggested Status: NEW Original Target Release: coke_dev; Suggested Target Milestone : 5.5 Original submitter: lchang Description: 1. Create a new .bpel process 2. Add a .wsdl import. 3. In the Navigator window, right-click the .wsdl that has been imported. Result: The delete menu option shows "Delete Delete" (see attached screenshot)
This may not be a bug. "Delete Delete" is correct since it means the Delete key is the shortcut for this action. This is the same menu style as Delete on other nodes. However, the format of the menu may be incorrect. For some reason the Navigator's contextual menu renders the "Delete Delete" very close together. I think this is a bug and the menu should render like the other contextual menus. Vitaly, please check with Jirka on proper format for contextual menu. Also, why is this even an issue, why are we not getting similar formatting by default?
The mentioned menu is rendered in default general way. It looks differ from other menus due to two simple reasons: 1. Delete action name is the longest name for this contextual menu 2. Delete action has Delete shortcut i.e. action name and action shortcut are the same. IMO we should think about better design for contextual menu. For example we can use different font colors (e.g.: black for action name and gray for action shortcut). But it's design question should we change anything and what way.
This is properly resolved as INVALID, as it is questionable if this is really an issue. Also if it is an issue it is generic to NetBeans, not specific to BPEL editor. My position is that current design is acceptable.
closing the bug as this is the default NB behavior and no more comments from bug reporter were added
