Description mr_beeba 2006-06-21 09:59:12 UTC
I am using the NB 5.5 build daily build from June 2, 2006 and I draw UML
diagrams. I am missing such basic functionality like undo/redo (IDE toolbar
buttons are disabled) or saving the project by toolbar button. The UML project
also cannot be set as main (although there is in fact nothing to run, I thing
that a better option would be to allow the setting as main, but disable
appropriate buttons like Build main project, Run main project, etc.). Moreover,
e.g. in Class diagram, once some link among two classes is established
(composition, usage, etc.) then when clicking the link node and moving it
somewhere out of the object (class), the link disappears (is not displayed
except the ending sign - e.g. an arrow), however, in fact it hangs somewhere "in
the air" and it is quite difficult to locate it (e.g. in order to move it back
or detele - undo would help!). If this occurs (e.g. by a mis-click), a better
option would be to keep drawing the link from the object where is snapped to a
location where the other end has ben dropped and to color the link in red or sth.

I really agree that UML editor *CAN’T* be used as long as there was not undo feature.
