If you go throuhg a dialog/wizard for instance:
"New from template" or "Mount CVS" etc.
and switch from current desktop to another and return back
those dialogs/wizard are dismised(accepted or canceled)
or they are grey, so you can't continou your work.

Do you need other detailde hints else?

These dialogs/wizards should be modal. Aren't they?
How can you switch desktops in modal dialog?

I mean the virtual desktops of my OS. (Not workspaces in IDE).
There are several TERMINALs by defalt on unix machines (on Windows there are
none, but some sw utils make it for you). They are TEXT (only LINUX,
not SOLARIS) and GRAPHICS on UNIX's OS (like Linux, Solaris).

Is it better, now?

Please try to verify that this bug still appears in very new dev and 3.1.
builds. (from 9.12.2000 and newer). Thanks a lot.

Heh, what does it mean? Is the bug still present or not? I did some fixes which
could affect this bug (fix it as side effect) so I wonder if it still present or
of it is fixed. My expectation is that it should be fixed now...

sorry for confusing you...
I mean this bug is still present.

Just try to Mount CVS and in the First dialog Browse to your working directory..
Switch into other virtual desktop and go back. JFileChooser will be OK,
but the wizard dialog underneath is a gray and you cannot continue your
mounting.

It's not FIXED yet.

I am not able to reproduce it in Netbeans dev. build 135 on Linux RedHat 6.2,
jdk 1.3, Gnome WM.

BUG also appears in version : FFJ20

Yeah, you're right. From FFJ20 there is a big improvement, but
bug still persists:-(

I'm using Linux RH 7.0, Gnome-sawfish
I've tested on [NBdev-142, Build-010308_1IE] on both it is possible to reproduce
it. But as I said, now you must switching between virtual desktops very, very
quickly. In a few attempts (about 5) your IDE will starts swap and finish your
work in opened wizard (like if it presses FINISH button on it).

If you feel that it doesn't give much sence, pls, mark this bug back as
worksforme....

We could not reproduce it on my system, even on Daniel's machine it is rare now,
if it will become worse I will look at it again. (nb release32 beta 5)

This is because I'm trying verify the issue #7858.

I'm changing the Summary from current value:
"Dialogs become grey or are dismised(accepted) if you switch from one
v.desktop"

to testing value (which was also original  Summary value):
"Dialogs become grey or are
dismised(accepted) if you switch from one
virtual desktop to another"
