Comment 3 Ken Frank 2006-06-15 16:31:30 UTC
Run using fontsize of 14 or 16; please talk with Pavel Rehak for details;
this relates perhaps to some jdk font defining issues or that at default font
size the font is not available on en xp; situation happens only on en xp that is
setup to run in other locales, but does not on actual localized windows.

I think this can be closed though if it is a valid situation that user would
use en xp and set other locale, then it could be filed somewhere else as a more
general issue; if developers have any info on how we could
track down where and how this happens it will be helpful.

there's nothing special about category fonts - it's just a bold version of the
default font.
maybe the windows xp installation is just missing the right font.
anyway, there's nothing i can do to fix short of using plain font for categories
(which is against the ui spec)
Comment 5 Stanislav Aubrecht 2006-06-26 14:44:37 UTC
i can't fix this bug - the system must have font(s) that support the selected
locale.
Comment 6 Ken Frank 2006-06-26 16:36:16 UTC
Fabiola,

can you run at 14 point fontsize and see if problem still there ?

Comment 7 Pavel Rehak 2006-08-22 09:18:20 UTC
Marking as verified, issue is not valid, reporter must run IDE with --fontsize
paramter.
