Changing of Configuration Type has no effect on Configuration Properties tree

If you have changed Configuration Type (e.g. Application --> Makefile) on
Project Properties dialog box and did not press Apply button then no changes
will be made in left side of dialog. Make node will not appear in Configuration
properties tree but C/C++ node will be in the tree still.

It is actually by design (after VS Studio) but I have considered changing it.

It is not possible to change type from managed to unmanaged project currently.
