Description gord 2006-06-08 15:10:49 UTC
Periodically, I'm getting an javax.jmi.reflect.InvalidObjectException when
browsing through my source. This last time was a J2SE project converted from
NB4.1. When this exception occurs, the Navigator window shows "Scanning in
progress..." and code completion stops working.

I'm using NB5.0 on Win2000 SP4. I'm not sure if this makes a difference, but
this project is set to use JRE1.4.2_06, because it uses an older version of Axis.

In order to restore code completion, I usually need to restart the IDE.

This issue is not valid in current builds any more. Java support was completely
redesigned in 6.0 time frame. Please use NetBeans 6.0 and later.
