Description Lukas Jungmann 2006-06-01 18:18:35 UTC
Currently user is able to set bindings file only after creation of client or ws
from wsdl in "Edit WS Attributtes" dialog. This is confusing for users which
already now that ws client generation will fail and they are expecting to be
able to specify bindings file _before_ the client is being generated for the
first time (eg. in new ws client wizard).
Comment 1 Jiri Kopsa 2006-06-12 14:20:32 UTC
In addition, we might also consider exposure of "namespaceMappingRegistry" in
the UI.
Comment 2 Srividhya Narayanan 2007-04-25 16:28:31 UTC
The major enhancement are taken care ofso downgrading it to P3 with incremental
enhancements down the road. Possible addition to service designer

- Specifying the pkg name
- Boolean attribute for wrapped or not

I think this is a major limitation of the tool. Most of the WSDLs generated by Windows Communication Foundation require
customization the namespace to package mapping. Without being able to specify a customization file, NetBeans would not
be of any use.
Comment 4 Milan Kuchtiak 2007-07-31 11:20:17 UTC
Increasing priority to P2.
This is related to "WS Client" and "WS from WSDL" wizards.
Would be good for WS Designer to have these options, but of course, it comes to play after wizard succesfuly generates
the service.

I reported a separate enhancement for new Designer options : issue 111453
