org.netbeans.modules.j2ee.sun.ide.j2ee.PlatformImpl#isToolSupported always
returns false for persistence providers other than Toplink. To my knowledge, it
should behave as JBoss plugin, i.e. search whether other providers are available
in the server.

That would be a nice RFE, is not it?
Not in the current 5.5 feature lists. Unless we find the time.

Well if this is an enhancement, it means that I should file an issue against JBoss 
plugin?

The plugin currently returns true for Toplink, Kodo and Hibernate.
But this has generated another RFE, to search for persistence libraries and
enabled only if available.
