Description judytang 2006-05-06 03:41:56 UTC
I am using 5/3 NB Beta build with JDK 5.0, Appserver SDK build4 on Win XP, with
a archive project bit from developer on 5/2.

Suggestion to add Run Project and Debug Project on archived project. These two
functions are available on a newly created project, but not on a archived
project. Why ?

Step to recreate:

(1) New Project -> Enterprise -> Packaged Archive
(2) Create a archive project
(3) Right click on the created archive project node, there is not Run Project
and Debug Project function. I feel they they would be useful to have, so user
can directly run a project.

Not for debug, as there is no src for binary archive.
Comment 2 judytang 2006-05-31 03:10:53 UTC
I raise this to P2, since to get the feature implemented earlier can help my
testing greatly.
Comment 3 Vince Kraemer 2008-01-23 20:53:03 UTC
archive projects have little traction with users

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
