At a customer visit, it was suggested to have the ability to use the HTTP Monitor to save HTTP requests into a JUnit test, (or other types of unit test frameworks such as TestNG). This would allow the ability to automatically run web unit test cases against a web application as opposed to doing it interatively or going outside the IDE to run a different tool for validating web page flow including the getting and posting of HTTP requests. Additional enhancements could including; modification (editing) of the HTTP requests / responses before saving them in a unit test.
This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue. Thanks for your cooperation, NetBeans IDE 8.2 Release Boss
