My c++ project contains several components with separate source dirs. The source dirs themselves all have the same name though. In NB they cannot be distinguished without looking at the contents or the tooltip for the folder. Renaming renames the physical folder. It would be nice to be able to assign a "logical" name independently of the real folder name.
Sounds reasonable.
I may have misunderstood the issue. If you are talking about CND projects, all folders in project view are logical folders and you can rename them without renamng the physical folders. Isn't that what you want?
Correct, this is what I wanted. Back when I reported this issue, there was no way of renaming a project folder without renaming the physical folder. I didn't have a chance to try recent versions, so this may well be solved now.
