Description wqtnetbeans 2006-02-20 04:37:53 UTC
There is useful feature that can be borrowed from IntelliJ editor: You can opt
to have the editor mark the code scope of the current caret position.

e.x.

. If the caret is inside a class about outside of any instance method, the
entire class is marked by a blue bar on the left.

. If the caret is inside a "if" or "try" block, the blue bar spans the entire
"if" or "try" block.

. If the caret is inside a method but outside of any {} blocks, the blue bar
spans the entire method.

.....

This would be very useful when you have to work with code that has real long
if/else or try/catch blocks, and methods. Espcially when the code is written by
others, and you are trying to figure out what's going on.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
