I access the DB Explorer in Netbeans thro Runtime -> Databases -> RightClick on a DB Connection -> Execute Command. I find it useful and use it in place of Toad. However, I am unable to find a way to copy the whole output. Currently the Results pane of the DB Explorer allow me to copy a cell or a whole row. If I had 999 rows of results I would have to perform row copying 999 times. Pretty tedious. It would make me (and perhaps, the whole world) very elated if we could right click on the results pane and choose ... 1. [Select All] 2. [Copy All] 3. [Copy Selected] 4. [Save Selected to file] *5. [Hide Selected] *6. [Unhide All] *As well as, Select columns by pressing ctrl key to click on each column we wish to select and copy. * = nice-to-have but not as essential.
It isn't solved in NetBeans 6.5 too. So changed product version. I think it is good improvement. Set priority to P3.
We already support copy, we will implement the save or export in the next release.
Reassigned to new owner.
