Description _ sandipchitale 2006-01-17 17:17:14 UTC
When the user clones a document editor window (view) it is more likely that
she wants to look different parts of the same document - possibly for
comparison or copy/paste. So it makes sense that a new editor tabset (I may
not been using the correct NetBeans lingo for this) created to open the clone.

This could be option along the lines of:
--
When cloning documet, open it in:

( ) Same tabset

(o) Tabaset to the left
( ) Tabaset to the below
( ) Tabaset to the right
( ) Tabaset to the above

    [ ] Reuse existing tabset
--

Makes sense?

Reassigning to core/winsys for further evaluation.

Yes, it does make sense, currently it is always cloned to the same "tab set" and user can't see two different parts of
the same document at once, user has to DnD cloned document in order to achieve this.
