Why do we have two supports for the same thing? j2ee/ddloaders/src/org/netbeans/modules/j2ee/ddloaders/common/xmlutils/XMLJ2eeDataObject.java websvc/core/src/org/netbeans/modules/websvc/wsdl/xmlutils/XMLJ2eeDataObject.java together with accompanying EditorSupport and Utils. These are almost identical but there are already few differences that can be intentional but maybe are just not synced. Similarly there is also DD2beansDataObject that is even more different.
There is a plan to refactor WSDL data object in the next release to enable graphical editing. Thus, websvc/core/src/org/netbeans/modules/websvc/wsdl/xmlutils/XMLJ2eeDataObject.java will be removed.
Is this a P3 DEFECT? I suggest changing to TASK, if there is a justification why this is a bug, to a P4 DEFECT.
Changing to P4 per agreement with Radim.
Still valid. We should think about removing the folowing package entirely: org.netbeans.modules.websvc.wsdl.xmlutils and also WsCompileConfigDataObject
