Description Dave 2000-07-17 20:01:15 UTC
In the open file dialog, the IDE allows you to make edits to already existing
file and directory names. However, once the edit is committed <ie hit cr>, the
name reverts back to what it was.

It's been awhile since this problem has occurred, and for the life of me I
can't reproduce. At this point I believe that I must have just clicked on
another directory or file, and caused a cancel.
I suppose this is NOT a bug, just a variance between what is and what is
expected.
As a side note, there's no warning for changing the name of a read-only file as
would be expected.

Resolved for 3.4.x or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
