After adding a new column to an Oracle DB table (using thin driver), the IDE appeared to freeze for an unacceptable period of time. I would like to see some sort of status in the status bar.
Perhaps a little blue "knight rider" and an hourglass would be acceptable.
On slower systems this might be misinterpreted as a frozen IDE.

Turns out to be some brainless CounterSpy software that fired off at noon. This
works fine on subsequent invokations. My apologies.
