If I type something like:
asdfs################################################aksd;laksjdf########a;slf

in editor and cursor stays on this line => ### symbols are invisible
otherwise they are red.

should be fixed.
If you reproduced the issue in the dev build created after the date Oct 4,
please reopen the issue and attach a messages.log. Thanks.
