I have several projects opened but there is no way to tell what CVS I'm 
connected to, what version of the file I'm currently working on or what branch 
I'm in. These things are very important.

Branch info can now be turned on via View/Show CVS Status Labels

Nice but half way, the menu says "View/Show CVS Status Labels" but we can only
see the Branch and the version is very important too.

Couldn't the version be included at the en of branch?, something like [Branch
Name], version.

I would suggest to add a "status" menu option in the CVS menu that shows the
same info that the cvs status command.

We'll have customizable format of "[branch_name; status]" annotations including
revision numbers. We'll track the progress in Issue #59927.
