I am missing a feature where your latest cvs log messages where persisted. The
user should be able to select a message from a jcombobox. New comments will be
added to the list automatically.

what happens now with the patch? will you apply the changes on a special trunk?
I can imagine that the longer you wait the harder it gets to patch the source.

After UI freeze and its usability studing we do not want to change this UI. It
could become enabled on -J-Dnetbeans.experimental.cvs.commitHistory=true.

This patch already was applied in any branch??

I do not think so. We plan to have commit messages history for 6.0 though so we
will examine your patch soon.
