Description Vince Kraemer 2005-09-08 22:32:16 UTC
get feedback from peers for Promo G requirements list
Comment 1 judytang 2005-09-09 19:06:39 UTC
I have sent an email to SQE managers and team leads, asking them to collect
this information and send back to me. I will then update to this issue.

However, since there are few SQE currently using the NetBeans, we may not
get as many feedback as we wanted. The plan is to get more and more
Appserver SQE using NetBeans to write the testcases, then we will see a bigger
benificial.

It sounds like you are asking the wrong question.

We need to know what problems/gotchas they have encountered while doing Java EE
5 development.

An IDE should try to resolve those problems. So, we need to hear about the
problems that folks have encountered, first.

Thanks Vince for your input. I see your point now. Here is what we can do.
Would you like to send your request to dodda-all@sun.com alias, this is the
alias for the entire SQE, this way your request will be directly heard. At
the same time, I will help to follow up and to collect any fead back if I hear
any, I can use this issue to record any input I collect. Please let me know if
this is a better approach.

You can send the email first to let the SQE start to think, then if there is
a need, we can schedule a meeting or some kind conference call.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.

Thanks for your cooperation,
