Whenever I click the Collapse/Expand button (to show or hide the topmost part of
the Search History window), the window is reset to its initial state - the
splitter position is reset and also the selected revision in the table is
unselected. Why?? Nothing else should change, other than showing/hiding the part
with the search components.

Components are now not re-created when hiding/showing Search Criteria panel.
