By th first loading the IDE asked, if I want to import the settings from 
previous version (4.1). I answered Yes.
The IDE than made something for a while and then openen the windows announcig 
occurence of some exceptions.

This has been fixed, see Issue #67954.

Winsys exception is also already fixed, passing to progress maintainer (it seems
that this error was fixed as well)...

the progress asssertion is there to prevent wrong usage of progress bar,
reassigning to javacore

This issue is not valid in current builds any more. Java support was completely
redesigned in 6.0 time frame. Please use NetBeans 6.0 and later.
