Netbeans was acting up so I restarted it. Before restart, I had debugged in the past few sessions with Netbeans, and while debugging the debugger would stop on lines that I had already cleared breakpoints for. When I restarted this time, Netbeans just gave an error and quit. The NPE is in ANT debugger
I resolved it by removing lines from org-netbeans-modules-debugger-Settings.properties. Somehow it must have been corrupted inside Netbeans (because I did not edit it manually). To get it to work I removed the "debugger.breakpoints.jpda.#." entries where # is a number. Suddenly this started to happen to me as well. The problem is, that the line of the AntBreakpoint is null.

Fixed. The line numbers were decreased when read from settings. When they reached 0, the exception was thrown.
